YOOZOO Games On App Annie’s Top China Publishers 2020 List



Following the breakout success of Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac featuring in App Annie’s Breakout Games of 2019 last month, YOOZOO Games overseas publishing continues to go from strength-to-strength with the news today that the games company ranks in App Annie’s top 20 list for all Chinese publishers in overseas markets (worldwide excluding China).


The list is based on combined iOS App Store and Google Play revenue research conducted by App Annie Intelligence for 2019. App Annie reports that the APAC region contributed 63% of global mobile consumer spend in 2019.


With fierce competition from Asian publishers, YOOZOO places great emphasis on a glocalization strategy, in order to truly understand the wants and needs of users in different markets around the world, and adapting local publishing strategies accordingly. This remains in-line with YOOZOO’s overseas strategy as unveiled at Gamescom; working with global IP titles and bringing Asian hits to the Western market.


Alongside maintaining steady business growth, YOOZOO places equal value on fulfilling its social responsibility, having recently sent 160,000 units of KN95 masks and other protective clothing items to medical workers on the front-line in the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, and last year donating 43,600 meals to the World Food Programme’s ShareTheMeal campaign.
