The company shareholders’ profit of $459 million for the first three quarters of 2017 is a 27.29% growth over the same period last year.       Yoozoo Games released four new games during the reported quarters: Legend of the Condor Heroes ARPG, The Advisors Alliance MMOARPG, Amazon Kingdom turn-based RPG and Disney Crossy Road casual mobile game. According to reports, The Advisors Alliance game was released alongside the hit TV series of the same name that starred Wu Xiubo, and cross-promoted throughout its run. Yoozoo Games focused on cinematic gameplay and quickly stood out in the action-adventure RPG genre.

Even then, Yoozoo sought to expand its casual game portfolio, evident in Disney Crossy Road. It was the follow-up in the genre to “Keep Running: Major Combat” released in the first half of the year. In retrospect, Yoozoo had paired almost all of its casual game titles with highly recognized IPs, making the company head-and-shoulders above its competitors in the casual gaming market, laying the foundation for explosive growth.

In addition to a rapidly growing mobile game venture, Yoozoo retained its position at the forefront of the field of browser games, as the company obtained a license from Perfect World to publish the official “Legend of the Condor Heroes” browser game based on Louis Cha’s classic wuxia novel, with the star of the 83rd TV adaptation as the game’s spokesperson to thrill fans and take the IP to the next level. This was also the second game in the action genre released by Yoozoo within the reported period. Yoozoo currently continues to test the limits and improve the quality of its browser games.

From mobile games like Disney Crossy Road and The Advisors Alliance to browser games like Legend of the Condor Heroes, Yoozoo has married almost every new release to a classic IP, transcending the previous boundaries of entertainment and exploring new dimensions in interactive gaming.

Also worth mentioning is Yoozoo’s rise in competitiveness overseas and its brand recognition which has given it the power to acquire major global IPs. It was the first to land such a license during the China Joy era when it won the adaptation and distribution rights to the Game of Thrones IP. Yoozoo announced a strategic partnership with Warner Interactive Entertainment, and is set to adapt the IP for gaming with the HBO Global Team. Yoozoo has secured the rights to “The Three-Body Problem”, “Game of Thrones” and other domestic and foreign IPs. Combined its top-notch game development with stellar marketing, amazing transmedia results can be expected, ones that would carry Yoozoo into the future as a consistent, stabilizing force in gaming.
